Job summary

Keolis Commuter Services in Mesa, AZ is seeking a field-ready maintenance/operations associate to support daily fleet readiness. You will ensure vehicles are fueled, interiors cleaned, safety equipment stocked, and reported fleet issues addressed in collaboration with supervisors.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift 50 pounds, outdoor work in varying weather, and adherence to OSHA guidelines; candidates must have an Arizona driver's license and be willing to obtain a CDL.

Qualifications

• Must have an Arizona DL and be willing to obtain a CDL.

• Able to work without direct supervision.
• Must be able to work in and outdoors in all weather conditions

Responsibilities

• All vehicles completely fueled, and fluids topped, ready for service
• Vehicle interiors cleaned according to the contract
• Vehicle emergency equipment (fire extinguisher, body-fluid kit, first aid kit) fully stocked and functional
• Vehicles parked according to facility parking plan
• Any fleet damage documented and communicated to the manager
• Fuel island maintained and kept clean, any spills immediately contained and reported to the manager
• Work area maintained according to all OSHA and EPA regulations
• Shop area cleaned, mopped and trash disposed of daily
• Landscaping and lot cleaned and cared for as needed
• Post notices in vehicles as required by client
• Assist maintenance staff and manager as needed.

• Operations Supervisors and Managers may split their work between an office setting looking at a computer screen/electronic device and active transit field locations driving in a vehicle.
• Maintenance Employees may be exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals in a ventilated maintenance shop and may work with personal computers, laptops, electronic hand-held devices, complex electrical schematics, diagnostic software and testing devices, and other heavy machinery.
• Office Staff may work indoors in air-conditioned or well-ventilated facilities, including offices and cubicle spaces equipped with a telephone and computer and may entail typing or looking at a computer screen.
