Job summary

Vector Fleet Management, part of Amerit Fleet Solutions, is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to repair and maintain light to medium duty fleet vehicles. The role offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $28.00-$32.00, with Friday pay and a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM shift.

Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and 401(k) match are provided. Responsibilities include performing repairs, preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years’ experience performing vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Must have valid Driver’s License.
• Proficient computer skills: knowledge of Excel, Word, Fleet Management Systems, and Email.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to operate a manual transmission vehicle.
• Must provide own hand tools & toolbox.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on light to medium duty fleet vehicles.
• Conduct safety inspections and complete documentation.
• Inspect and service undercarriage and accessible vehicle areas.
• Move parts to/from job sites and install/remove components as needed.
• Interact with clients via email and phone as necessary.
• Perform other duties as required.
