Environmental Allies, Inc. seeks a Heavy Haul Driver in the Houston area. This full-time role operates flatbed trucks to move heavy equipment to project sites, performs inspections, and ensures safety on every trip. Drivers are home every evening with a competitive hourly wage of $30–$37.

The ideal candidate holds a valid CDL A, a high school diploma or GED, and at least 3 years of experience with construction equipment deliveries and dump trailers. DOT medical certification and MVR are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience with construction equipment deliveries and operating flatbeds.
• 3+ years of experience driving dump trailers with manual transmission.
• Ability to satisfy DOT requirements including current DOT medical certificate and pre-employment drug testing.
• MVR must meet company and insurance requirements.

Responsabilités

• Deliver heavy equipment to project construction job sites.
• Load, unload, tie down, and strap heavy equipment.
• Check vehicles for mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment.
• Inspect loads to ensure proper securing.
• Maintain logs of working hours and vehicle service or repair status.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions with guidance from loading crew.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage.
• Collect delivery instructions and verify routes.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance (oil, fuel, coolant).
• Assist with loading/unloading as needed.
