Job summary

Superior Fence & Rail is seeking a Commercial Driver/Materials Delivery specialist to transport fencing materials from two warehouses and job sites, operating a flatbed truck and trailer. You will ensure timely deliveries with a safety-first mindset.

This role requires safe driving, route planning, loading/unloading, and pre-trip inspections. CDL is preferred, strong communication with the warehouse team, and in-person work across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• CDL license preferred and clean driving history.
• Experience with flatbed or material-delivery roles is a plus.
• Ability to plan efficient routes and communicate delivery status.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial flatbed truck
• Plan and execute over-the-road driving routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across multiple locations
• Load and unload freight efficiently using manual handling techniques or equipment such as forklifts, ensuring cargo safety and compliance with hazardous materials regulations when applicable
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
• Load & unload cargo accurately, managing logistics cargo handling processes for fencing materials
• Communicate effectively with the warehouse manager to update delivery status
• CDL license preferred
