Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie is seeking a dependable Delivery Driver to load, secure, and transport flatbed freight to customer sites while maintaining safety standards and on-time deliveries. The role requires attention to detail, route planning, and hands-on loading/unloading duties.

You will perform vehicle inspections, securement checks, and coordinate with dispatch to ensure loads are delivered safely and efficiently in a weather-affected environment. CDL may be required for certain cargo.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and remain compliant with drug & alcohol regulations.
• Must maintain a clean driving record that meets company and insurance requirements.
• CDL and/or Hazardous Materials Endorsement may be required depending on vehicle class and cargo.
• Minimum of 1 year driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, and transport flatbed freight safely and efficiently.
• Inspect truck, straps, chains, and tarps; ensure loads secured before departure.
• Drive to job sites or customer locations; communicate with dispatch.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods when needed.
• Maintain vehicle safety, cleanliness, and compliance with policies.
