Job summary

Ascending Eagle is hiring a Class A CDL Driver to join our driver-first flatbed carrier, delivering freight with safety, reliability, and a pension-friendly benefits package. This full-time, in-person role requires at least 2 years regional/long-haul experience, clean driving record, and knowledge of FMCSA rules.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.
• Minimum 2+ years regional or long-haul trucking.
• Solid knowledge of FMCSA regulations and GPS systems.
• Able to perform physical duties of flatbed hauling.

Responsibilities

• Safe operations: operate Class A tractor-trailer to deliver cargo safely and on schedule.
• Cargo security: secure and protect flatbed loads from origin to destination.
• Vehicle stewardship: perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
• Compliance & documentation: maintain logs, mileage records, and fuel usage per DOT.
• Professional communication: coordinate with dispatchers and customers for a high-touch delivery experience.
• Safety advocacy: follow federal/state laws and report any mechanical concerns.
