Job summary

Boulder Connect in North Carolina is seeking an experienced regional flatbed truck driver to haul steel coil, pipe and building materials on established routes within the region.

You will operate a commercial flatbed, secure loads, comply with DOT and company safety policies, keep records, and participate in pay programs including linehaul and accessorial pay where applicable.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A is required for DOT-regulated routes.
• At least 1 year of verifiable CDL-A OTR experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial flatbed to transport freight safely and efficiently.
• Secure loads properly for steel coil, pipe, and building materials.
• Follow DOT and company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliant transportation documentation.
• Participate in pay programs including percentage-based linehaul and additional accessorial pay (tarp, detention, layover where applicable).
