Job summary

Hudson Toyota, part of Penske Automotive Group, seeks an experienced Flat Rate Technician to perform repairs and maintenance in compliance with factory and dealer standards. You will contribute to an outstanding customer experience in a busy shop environment.

The position offers a competitive pay range ($70,000–$120,000 yearly) and comprehensive benefits. An up to $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for experienced technicians, with growth opportunities within PAG.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; two years related experience preferred.
• ASE Certification is preferred but not required.
• Two ASEs minimum with A-6 Electrical preferred.

As a Flat Rate Technician, you will perform repairs and maintenance work in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and time standards for an excellent customer experience.

Expected pay for this position is $70,000 - $120,000 annually.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Two ASE's minimum required. One being A-6 Electrical.
• Genuine interest in providing an exceptional customer experience.
• Friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, with a positive "team-player" attitude.
• Strong work-ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
• Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment, 3+ years of dealership experience. Brand knowledge is preferred, but not required.

Work Environment

Will primarily work in an automotive shop environment. Workspace is covered but may involve various weather conditions such as heat and cold as well as safety hazards due to the nature of work. May experience loud noise on a regular basis.

Physical Demands

Medium/Heavy Work---Will lift over 50 pounds with assistance device required and/or frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to or over 35 pounds with assistance device available as needed. This position will require the employee to be standing for prolonged periods of time. This position requires the ability to push, pull, climb, stoop, kneel, reach, grasp, and walk on a regular basis. This position involves repetitive motion. This position requires the ability to talk and hear.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Work evening, weekend, and holiday work hours as required.

Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or the equivalent and two-year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education and Experience

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; and two-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications (Certification/Licenses/Registrations)

ASE Certification is preferred
