SEKISUI Aerospace in Renton, WA seeks a Flammability and Material & Process Engineer to ensure FAR 25 compliance and substantiation testing across programs. The engineer reviews designs, specs, and customer requests to develop flammability data and ensures regulatory compliance.
The role develops tests, coordinates DERs for approvals, and manages materials qualification and process updates while supporting TSCA/Reach/ROHS compliance and collaboration with engineering and production teams.

$91,500 - $130,000 DOE
Flammability and Material & Process Engineering ensures products and processes comply with FAR 25 flammability and mechanical properties requirements. The Engineer reviews designs, specifications, and customer requests to develop flammability substantiation data, verifies TSCA/Reach/ROHS compliance, and assists lab personnel with test activities.
Bachelor in Materials Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Process Engineering (or equivalent experience)
Basic Microsoft Office Suite

SEKISUI Aerospace is required by Washington law to include the salary range for this role when hiring a Washington resident. Pay ranges may be higher or lower for non‑resident WA employees, based on the market data for their region, allowing us to pay employees competitively in different geographic markets.
