Job summary

Thuma is seeking a Store Manager for its flagship in Georgetown. Lead a new team, deliver an exceptional guest experience, and drive business results across retail and cafe operations.

You will develop staff, manage visual merchandising, and nurture relationships with trade clients while upholding Thuma’s standards. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, budget awareness, and collaboration with Marketing to attract local and visiting customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Retail, Interior Design, and/or Trade environments.
• 4+ years in Retail Leadership.
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Experience engaging with trade clients (designers, architects).
• Comfort with visual merchandising and brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of flagship store and cafe, delivering a high-touch experience.
• Spearhead trade program and build Georgetown design-community relationships.
• Ensure visual merchandising reflects Thuma brand and current products.
• Recruit, hire, and train a high-performing team with ongoing coaching.
• Lead team to meet in-store KPIs and manage scheduling.
• Deliver consultative, design-oriented sales to guests and trade clients.
• Develop budgets with Head of Retail and partner with Marketing on promotions.
