Job summary

Ansco & Associates, LLC is seeking a Flagger II to help ensure safe travel near active worksites by guiding traffic with hand signals and paddles. This entry‑level role requires vigilance and teamwork to support construction crews.

Applicants must be 18+, authorized to work in the United States, have a HS diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and at least one year of flagging experience. Position involves fieldwork and variable weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid State driver’s license (not provisional) with a clean driving record.
• At least one year of previous flagging experience.

Responsibilities

• Control traffic in and around worksites with hand signals and paddles.
• Prepare flags, cones, signs and markers.
• Perform general construction work under foreman or supervisor.
• Train other flaggers when needed.
• Drive safely and follow company safety policies.
• Follow local, state and federal DOT guidelines.
• Clean and maintain company vehicles and equipment.
• Work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you’ll do

• Control traffic in and around more complex worksites with hand signs and paddles
• Prepare flags, cones, signs and markers
• Perform general construction work under direction of Foreman or Supervisor as needed
• Train other flaggers when needed
• Drive safely and follow company safe driving policies
• Follow local, state and federal DOT guidelines
• Clean and maintain all company vehicles and equipment
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid State driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• At least one year of previous flagging experience

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote location, operates vehicles, operate vehicle, squeeze, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, lift between 10 and 25 pounds, fine hand motion, use keyboard and mouse
• Occasionally: work with arms above shoulder level, climb stairs, and lift between 26 and 55 pounds
