Job summary

i9 Sports is seeking an Official to enforce rules, coach on-field behavior, and promote a positive game-day culture across our youth leagues. You will be on the sidelines during games and interact with players, coaches, and families to ensure safe, fair play.

This role requires excellent communication, experience in sports officiating or coaching, and the ability to work weekends for the roughly 7-week season. Training is provided, and each franchised location sets local terms.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Sport-specific officiating, playing, or coaching experience.
• Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently & solve problems.
• Awareness and ability to take charge to ensure players' safety.
• Positive attitude and ability to build professional relationships.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends and some evenings (~7 weeks).

Responsibilities

• Understand & enforce the i9 Sports rules books ensuring a fun, learning, and safety environment for all players
• Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values
• Keep time and score during the game; manage an age-appropriate level of instruction and competition
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
