Job summary

i9 Sports - Camden Wyoming, DE is seeking an Official to enforce rules on game day while promoting a positive culture and acting as an on-field coach. You will advocate for the programs and impact players, coaches, and spectators each game.

The role emphasizes safety, sportsmanship, and a fun experience for youth athletes; weekend and some evening work are required during the season.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Sport-specific officiating, playing, or coaching experience.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and solve problems.
• Awareness and ability to handle situations to ensure player safety.
• Positive attitude and ability to build professional relationships.
• Shift includes weekends and some evenings (~7 weeks).

Responsibilities

• Understand and enforce rules to ensure a fun, learning, and safety environment for all players.
• Teach and demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values.
• Keep time and score during the game; manage an age-appropriate level of instruction and competition.

Job Summary

The Official is a critical role on any sports field; responsible for enforcing rules while also cultivating a positive culture, acting as an on-field coach, and advocating for the programs. This role has a direct impact on players, coaches, and spectators each and every game day.

Responsibilities

• Understand & enforce the i9 Sports rules books ensuring a fun, learning, and safety environment for all players


• Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values


• Keep time and score during the game; manage an age-appropriate level of instruction and competition


• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
