Job summary

Maury County Public Schools is seeking an assistant head coach to support the program and athletes, contributing to training plans and game-day operations. You will verify that athletes follow the rules set by the TSSAA/TMSAA and Maury County School Board, monitor compliance, and report violations to the appropriate parties.

You will supervise all student athletes at all times, ensure a safe environment, prevent injuries, provide appropriate care, and perform duties deemed necessary by the head

Qualifications

• Assist the head coach in verifying that athletes adhere to the rules and regulations set by the TSSAA/TMSAA or other applicable athletic association, the Maury County School Board and all building-level policies and procedures and report any violations to the appropriate party.
• Ensure supervision of all student athletes at all times. An adult should be in the locker room when athletes are in the locker room and remain until all athletes have left the locker room.
• Provide the proper environment for the safety and health of the athletes, including the prevention of and proper care of injuries.
• Perform any duties deemed necessary by the head coach
