Job summary

Everence Services is seeking an Investment Research Analyst to support Fixed Income Portfolio Managers with credit research, quantitative analysis, and sector coverage. The analyst will produce written recommendations, monitor issuers, and assist in equity index fund management.

The role emphasizes financial analysis, collaboration with portfolio teams, and building analytical tools in Excel while gaining exposure to Bloomberg, BondEdge, and Northfield software. CFA candidacy is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field.
• 2+ years of investment-related experience (credit/ equity research or portfolio analytics). CFA being pursued is a plus.
• Proficiency with Excel and MS Office; familiarity with Bloomberg and BondEdge helpful.

Responsibilities

• Produce written credit research and recommendations on bond issuers with financial analysis and relative value comparisons.
• Cover assigned corporate sectors and monitor issuer credit quality and market trends.
• Support equity index fund management with tracking and rebalancing analysis.
• Build and maintain Excel-based models to improve analytical efficiency.
• Develop proficiency with core investment software (Bloomberg, BondEdge, Northfield); some scripting (Python, VBA) is a plus.
• Present research views to Portfolio Managers and participate in team discussions.
