Job summary

DrinkPAK is seeking a Fixed Asset Manager to lead asset lifecycle accounting across multiple facilities, ensuring US GAAP compliance and strong internal controls. The role reports to the Corporate Controller and collaborates with Accounting, FP&A, Operations, Engineering, and Procurement.

Based at the Santa Clarita headquarters, this full-time, salaried position supports multi-site fixed asset reporting and capital project tracking, with a focus on process improvements and system enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of FP&A, corporate finance, or related experience.
  • Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with BI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full fixed asset accounting lifecycle, including capitalization, depreciation, transfers, impairments, retirements, and reconciliations.
  • Maintain the fixed asset subledger and ensure GL alignment monthly.
  • Review capital project costs for proper US GAAP treatment and classification.
  • Partner with Controller and FP&A on fixed asset forecasting and monthly reporting.
  • Prepare fixed asset schedules and reporting for management review.
  • Ensure asset transactions are recorded accurately and timely per policies and US GAAP.
  • Collaborate with Ops, Engineering, Project Management, and Site Leadership on large capital initiatives.
  • Track CIP across projects and ensure proper capitalization timing as assets are placed in service.
  • Support leasing accounting for equipment and external financing partners.
  • Strengthen fixed asset policies, procedures, and SOX readiness.

This role will lead the management of DrinkPAK’s fixed asset lifecycle across multiple facilities, ensuring accurate capitalization, depreciation, compliance with US GAAP, and strong internal controls. As part of this commitment, we offer:PPO medical, dental, and vision insurance for our employees AND their dependents, 100% paid by the CompanyA cell phone stipendAnnual discretionary bonus401(k) match program, pet insurance, life insurance, and more.RESPONSIBILITIESFixed Asset Accounting & ReportingOwn the full fixed asset accounting lifecycle, including capitalization, depreciation, transfers, impairment reviews, retirements, and reconciliations.Maintain the fixed asset subledger and ensure alignment with the general ledger on a monthly close cadence.Review and validate capital project costs for appropriate accounting treatment and classification under US GAAP.Partner with the Controller and FP&A on fixed asset forecasting and monthly reporting.Prepare accurate fixed asset schedules, reconciliations, and reporting for management review.Ensure fixed asset transactions are recorded accurately and timely in accordance with company policies and US GAAP.Capital Project Collaboration and TrackingCollaborate with Operations, Engineering, Project Management, and Site Leadership during large capital initiatives, including new equipment installations and facility expansions in Texas and Pennsylvania.Track Construction-in-Progress (CIP) across projects and ensure proper capitalization timing as assets are placed in service.Support capital planning and evaluate the financial impact of capital projects as part of budgeting and forecasting cycles.Support capital budget tracking and variance analysis.Partner with project teams to ensure capital expenditures are properly documented, classified, and tracked throughout the project lifecycle.Equipment Financing & Lease AccountingReview and support accounting for equipment leases and financing arrangements under applicable lease accounting standards.Coordinate with Legal, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Warehouse teams to manage external financing partners on equipment lease structures.Maintain detailed tracking of lease terms, payment schedules, and asset classifications.Ensure accurate accounting and disclosure for finance leases, operating leases, and embedded leases.Support the reconciliation and reporting of leased and financed assets.Internal Controls, Compliance & AuditStrengthen and document fixed asset policies, procedures, and internal controls, including SOX readiness where applicable.Prepare detailed fixed asset schedules and supporting documentation for internal and external audits.Support physical asset counting and periodic tagging processes across facilities.Ensure appropriate documentation and controls are maintained throughout the fixed asset lifecycle.Identify and address control gaps, accounting risks, and opportunities for process improvement.Process Improvement & SystemsIdentify automation, system, and process enhancements to improve accuracy and efficiency within the fixed asset workflow.Work with ERP and fixed asset modules, including NetSuite, Oracle, or similar systems, to support better reporting, tracking, and data integrity.Assist with system implementations, enhancements, and integrations impacting fixed asset accounting.Develop and improve reporting tools and processes to provide greater visibility into capital expenditures and fixed asset activity.Establish standardized processes across multiple sites to support scalable fixed asset management.*Please note this job description is not designed to contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.2-4 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or a related field.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling; experience with Tableau, Power BI, SAP, or similar financial tools is a plus.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.Experience in a high-growth, asset-heavy industry (e.g., manufacturing, logistics, or private equity-backed companies) is preferred.Highly motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.OUR VALUESOur company’s culture is guided by our shared values of Speed, Intensity, and Purpose.
