Job Details

Job Title: Fixed Assets Accounting Manager
Location: Tempe, AZ (4 days onsite)
Pay Rate: $50 - $60 per hour, depending on experience
Project Length: Contract-to-hire preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly reconciliation of project accounting to general ledger
• Collaborate with project managers to monitor budgets, costs, and final project spend
• Lead and mentor a small accounting team
• Implement process improvements and automation initiatives related to fixed assets
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal capitalization policies
• Respond to auditor inquiries and support financial reporting cycles

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in fixed asset/project accounting
