Job summary

Fluidstack is hiring a hands-on Commissioning Engineer in Seattle to lead BMS/EPMS integration for cutting-edge data centers. You will oversee end-to-end testing, validate sequences, and drive automation to accelerate site readiness.

The role requires deep experience with mission-critical control systems, thousands of points, and a proactive mindset. Fluidstack promotes equity and rewards performance, with a compensation range of $161k–$197k.

Qualifications

Role Scope

• Commission BMS and EPMS controls for data centers: point-to-point through full sequence validation and integrated testing.
• Verify every sequence of operations against design, and prove failure modes behave as written, not as hoped.
• Run alarm rationalization and graphics validation so operators inherit a system they can trust on day one.
• Automate test execution and reporting so Level 4 and Level 5 commissioning gets faster every site.

What We're Looking For

• You read control sequences critically and find the case the programmer missed.
• You script or automate repetitive test work rather than grinding it manually.
• Bonus: Niagara, Ignition, or major BMS platforms. EPMS integration. PLC programming. Data center liquid cooling controls.
