Job summary

AgReserves, Inc. in Salt Lake City, UT, is seeking an experienced Fixed Asset Manager to join our corporate finance team. You will oversee the fixed asset lifecycle from acquisition through disposal, ensuring accurate accounting and reporting.

This role partners with operations, IT, procurement and finance to maintain asset records, manage depreciation, capital expenditures, and audits. A Bachelor's in accounting/finance and 5+ years' fixed asset experience are required; CPA/CMA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Five+ years of accounting experience including fixed asset accounting and reporting.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred; supervisory experience considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fixed asset register and ensure asset records are accurate and compliant with policies and standards.
• Review and approve fixed asset journal entries and related balance sheet accounts.
• Manage capitalization, depreciation, impairment, and disposal of fixed assets.
• Coordinate periodic physical inventory counts and resolve asset discrepancies.
• Ensure internal controls, policies, and audits are supported and compliant.
• Develop and maintain fixed asset policies and process improvements.
• Collaborate with procurement, operations, IT, facilities, and finance to track asset activity and reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual fixed asset reports including depreciation and capex.
• Assist budgeting/forecasting for capital investments and depreciation.
• Provide training to accounting teams on fixed asset processes and systems.
• Support internal/external audits with schedules and documentation.
