Job summary

PUMA North America, Inc. is seeking a part-time contractor for the Fitting Specialist role to support the Cobra Golf brand in the Northern CA/Bay Area. You will set up and run fitting days, coordinate orders, and serve as the main contact for accounts during fittings and follow-ups.

Expect to conduct 40–50 events per year, lift up to 50 lbs, and work weekends as required. High school diploma required; college degree preferred; Trackman/FlightScope knowledge a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to set up and break down a fitting day.
• Knowledge of golf ball flight data characteristics.

Responsibilities

• Set up and conduct fitting days in the field for the assigned territory.
• Maintain fitting tools and organize orders from the fitting day for placement by accounts/Territory Sales Manager.
• Keep accurate fitting records and serve as the point of contact for account fitting day requests and follow-up.
• Conduct one-on-one fittings with consumers and participate in brand events and VIP club fittings.
• Collaborate with the local Territory Sales Manager to maintain strong account relationships.

YOUR MISSION

• This role supports the COBRA PUMA GOLF brand as a part time contractor.
• Currently looking to support the Northern CA/Bay Area Territories.
• The Fitting Specialist will be responsible for setting up and conducting our fitting days in the field for their respective territory.
• Duties will consist of maintaining fitting tools, setting up the fitting day, organizing orders from the fitting day to be placed by the account or local Territory Sales Manager, keeping accurate fitting records and being the point of contact for our brands for all account requests pertaining to fitting days and fitting day follow up.
• This will include one on one fittings with our consumers, participating in large scale brand events, Staff and VIP golf club fittings and working with the local Territory Sales Manager to maintain outstanding relationships with our accounts.

YOUR TALENT

• High school diploma; college degree preferred
• Experience with launch monitors (Trackman, Foresight, or FlightScope) and golf club fitting
• Understanding basic and intermediate fitting terminology
• Knowledge of golf ball flight data characteristics (speed, launch, spin)
• High level of energy, initiative and professionalism
• Ability to set up and break down a fitting day, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to conduct 40-50 events in a calendar year
• Ability to be flexible to business needs and willingness to work weekends

The base pay for this position is $175 per fitting day + commission.
