Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking a Senior Pipe Fitter for a contract assignment at our WECTEC Staffing Services team. The role is on-site at the plant facility in Manning, SC, reporting to the site Manager.

Responsibilities include planning, layout and execution of piping projects, plus fabrication, installation and maintenance of piping systems across the site. Qualified candidates have 5 years in pipefitting, a trade/technical school diploma, and nuclear background with fitness for

Qualifications

• Five (5) years pipefitting craft experience.
• Diploma or applicable education from a trade or technical school in industrial maintenance may qualify for part of experience requirement.
• Experience with pumping, delivery and discharge systems.
• 18 years of age.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Nuclear background, fitness for duty which includes medical and pre-employment drug screen.

About the role:

Senior Level Pipe Fitter - Contract position

You will report to nuclear plants for assignments.

You will work on site.

You will report to the site Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, layout, and execute jobs.
• Fabricate, install, repair, replace and maintain piping, plumbing, sewers, fixtures, filters, valves, air compressors, water meters, radiant heaters, controls, pumps (including cooling tower and chilled water pumps), vacuum, pneumatic and hydraulic, fire, water and waste systems throughout the plant site, including the Ultra Filters along with the sanitary waste and the industrial waste treatment facilities.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years pipefitting craft experience.
