Job summary

Planet Fitness in Savannah, GA seeks a Fitness Trainer to run the club's group fitness program and support members on their goals. You will create class schedules, instruct proper equipment use, and promote a welcoming Judgement Free Zone on the club floor.

Ideal candidates have 6-12 months in customer service, be 18+, and complete CPR/AED certification. Training is provided, with a path to Nationally Certified status and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• 6-12 months of experience in a customer service environment is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (Training provided by Planet Fitness).
• Nationally Certified Training Certificate required.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Create a class schedule for members including Orientation and DYOP.
• Engage with members on the club floor to discuss goals and demonstrate equipment use.
• Promote the Judgement Free Zone by supporting members' fitness journeys.
• Walk through all fitness areas to ensure a great member experience and address issues.
• Accept prospective member calls and tours to assess needs and offer Trainer services.
