Job summary

A leading fitness franchise in the Town of Bethlehem is seeking a motivated individual to conduct the Planet Fitness PE@PF program and assist members with their fitness goals. Responsibilities include creating exercise updates, answering member inquiries, and supporting front-desk activities. If you have a passion for health, exceptional customer service skills, and relevant certifications, we want you on our team to enhance our member experience and contribute to our 'Judgement Free Zone'.

Qualifications

• Passion for fitness and health is essential.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Punctuality and reliability are a must.
• Exceptional customer service skills with members and staff.
• Strong listening and problem-solving abilities.
• Diplomacy in all interactions and appropriate language.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Nationally Certified Training Certificate.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and run the Planet Fitness PE@PF program.
• Consult with members regarding fitness goals.
• Create bi-weekly updates of exercises.
• Assist with front desk activities.
• Assist front desk tasks: answer phones, check-in, sign-up new members, give tours.
• Clean the club and equipment; sanitize restrooms and locker rooms.
• Respond to member questions promptly and escalate as needed.

Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct and run the Planet Fitness PE@PF program, including creating and following the schedule.
• Consult with members regarding their fitness goals and instruct them on how to properly and safely use the equipment.
• Create bi-weekly updates consisting of a variety of exercises.
• Meet class requirements based on club size and member traffic.
• Assist in front desk related activities including:
  • Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions.
  • Check members into the system.
  • New member sign-up.
  • Take prospective members on tours.
  • Cleaning the club and equipment.
  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms, locker room areas.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.

• Punctuality and reliability is a must.
• Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers, exceeding the member’s expectations.
• Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve.
• Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• Nationally Certified Training Certificate required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Physical Demands

• Continual standing and walking during shift.
• Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.
• Must be able to occassionally lift up to 50 lbs.
