Baseline Fitness in Shakopee, MN is seeking a full-time Trainer to run the Planet Fitness PE@PF program and help new members achieve their fitness goals by designing simple workouts and instructing proper equipment use.

You will conduct PE@PF sessions, promote class sign-ups, update exercise routines bi-weekly, assist at the front desk with check-ins and tours, and ensure club cleanliness. Must have a fitness trainer certification and strong customer service skills.

• Run the Planet Fitness PE@PF program and follow the schedule.
• Consult with members on fitness goals and safe equipment use.
• Promote PE@PF class sign-ups with creative approaches.
• Create bi-weekly updates with varied exercises.
• Meet class requirements based on club size and traffic.
• Assist front desk activities: answer phones, check-in members, sign-ups, tours.
• Update member accounts as needed.
• Elevate issues to Team Lead/Club Manager when appropriate.
• Maintain club neatness and appearance.

Responsible for running the Planet Fitness group fitness program (PE@PF). This includes assisting new members in the achievement of their fitness goals by designing a simple workout program and instructing them on the proper use of equipment.

• Conduct and run the Planet Fitness PE@PF program, including creating and following the schedule.
• Consult with members regarding their fitness goals and instruct them on how to use the equipment properly and safely.
• Creating creative and unique ways to promote PE@PF class sign-ups.
• Create bi-weekly updates consisting of a variety of exercises.
• Meet class requirements based on club size and member traffic.

Minimum Qualifications

• Honesty and good work ethic

• Punctuality and reliability are a must.
• Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers, exceeding the member’s expectations.
• Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve.Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.
• Completed fitness trainer certification.

Physical Demands

• Standing and walking at least 75% of the shift
• Talking in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shiftMust be able to lift to 50 lbs. less than 30% of the time.
