Job summary

BODY20 Lake Oswego is seeking an energetic Fitness Coach to join our team in a full-time role. You will report to the Studio Manager and lead EMS and InBody sessions, while delivering personalized member service and instruction in a dynamic gym setting.

The position offers competitive hourly pay and opportunities for advancement. Ideal candidates have certification, CPR/AED, and 1–3 years of training experience, plus strong communication and professional skills.

Qualifications

  • Current nationally recognized personal training certification preferred.
  • CPR/AED certification preferred.
  • 1–3 years of personal training experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of honesty and personal integrity.
  • Passion, ambition, drive, and knowledge of the fitness industry.
  • Strong time-management, organizational, and follow-up skills.
  • Reliable, professional, computer literate, energetic, and friendly.

Responsibilities

  • Administer InBody evaluations and EMS personal training sessions.
  • Establish and maintain a high level of service according to company standards.
  • Provide a high level of personalized attention to members.
  • Maintain knowledge of and participate in all club services, programs, and products.
  • Instruct and demonstrate to members the proper use of equipment and exercise techniques, including operating equipment and moving weight up to 50 pounds.
  • Adjust and operate EMS and fitness equipment to BODY20 standards.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Attend all fitness-coach related meetings and trainings.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Administer InBody evaluations and EMS personal training sessions

  • Maintain knowledge of and participate in all club services, programs, and products
  • Instruct and demonstrate to members the proper use of equipment and exercise techniques, including operating equipment and dynamically moving weight up to 50 pounds

  • Attend all fitness‑coach related meetings and trainings

Essential Physical Requirements

Compensation

$15.00 – $20.00 per hour.
