Job summary

Planet Fitness PF Baseline Fitness is seeking a full-time Trainer to lead the PE@PF group fitness program. You will design simple workouts for new members and guide them on proper equipment use.

You’ll promote class sign-ups, create bi-weekly exercise updates, and support front-desk duties while ensuring the club remains clean and welcoming.

Responsibilities

• Run the Planet Fitness PE@PF program and follow the schedule.
• Consult with members about fitness goals and proper equipment use.
• Promote PE@PF class sign-ups with creative approaches.
• Create bi-weekly exercise updates.
• Meet class requirements based on club size and member traffic.
• Assist front desk tasks: answer phones, check-ins, sign-ups, tours.
• Escalate questions to Team Lead/Club Manager as needed.
• Maintain club cleanliness and appearance.

Job Summary

Responsible for running the Planet Fitness group fitness program (PE@PF). This includes assisting new members in the achievement of their fitness goals by designing a simple workout program and instructing them on the proper use of equipment.

• Conduct and run the Planet Fitness PE@PF program, including creating and following the schedule.
• Consult with members regarding their fitness goals and instruct them on how to use the equipment properly and safely.
• Creating creative and unique ways to promote PE@PF class sign-ups.
• Create bi-weekly updates consisting of a variety of exercises.
• Meet class requirements based on club size and member traffic.
• Assist in front desk related activities including:
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions.
• Check members into the system.
• New member sign-up.
• Take potential members on tours.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to Team Lead, MIT or Club Manager as needed.
• Help maintain the neatness/cleanliness of the club.
• Assist in cleanliness and appearance of club.

Minimum Qualifications

Physical Demands

• Standing and walking at least 75% of the shift
• Talking in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift
• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. less than 30% of the time.
