Planet Fitness - PF Baseline Fitness is seeking a dynamic Trainer to run the PE@PF program, design simple workouts, and guide members toward their fitness goals with proper equipment usage.

You will lead sessions, assist front desk operations, and help maintain a clean, welcoming club environment while promoting class participation and member engagement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and lead the PE@PF program and follow schedule.

• Create bi-weekly exercise updates.
• Meet class requirements based on club size and traffic.
• Assist front desk tasks: greet callers, check-ins, sign-ups, tours.
• Respond to member questions and elevate when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the club.

Status: Full Time/Non-Supervisor/Non-Exempt

Job Title: Trainer

Job Summary

Responsible for running the Planet Fitness group fitness program (PE@PF). This includes assisting new members in the achievement of their fitness goals by designing a simple workout program and instructing them on the proper use of equipment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Conduct and run the Planet Fitness PE@PF program, including creating and following the schedule.
• Consult with members regarding their fitness goals and instruct them on how to use the equipment properly and safely.
• Creating creative and unique ways to promote PE@PF class sign-ups.
• Create bi-weekly updates consisting of a variety of exercises.
• Meet class requirements based on club size and member traffic.
• Assist in front desk related activities including:
  • Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions.
  • Check members into the system.
  • New member sign-up.
  • Take potential members on tours.
  • Changing/updating member account information
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to Team Lead, MIT or Club Manager as needed.
• Help maintain the neatness/cleanliness of the club.
• Assist in cleanliness and appearance of club.

Minimum Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers, exceeding the member’s expectations.
• Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve.

• Completed fitness trainer certification.

Physical Demands

• Standing and walking at least 75% of the shift
• Talking in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift
• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. less than 30% of the time.
