Job summary

BODYROK Ballard is hiring fitness instructors to launch our Ballard studio. You’ll help build a brand-new community, lead high-energy 45-minute sessions on our Hybrid Pilates Method, and bring energy, music, and motivation to every class.

Prior teaching is preferred, but what matters most is connection with the room and a passion for fitness. You’ll train with BODYROK, earn per-session pay, and have opportunities to grow into leadership roles as we expand in Seattle.

Qualifications

• Past teaching experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to motivate and energize a room.
• Comfortable teaching on a microphone and cueing clearly.
• Knowledge of fitness fundamentals and music integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-energy BODYROK classes with confidence and clear cues.
• Cue effectively on the mic and maintain class flow.
• Create an engaging, motivating fitness experience for participants.
• Ensure safety, form, and modification options as needed.

We're bringing BODYROK to Ballard- and we're looking for the instructors who will help build it from the ground up.

BODYROK is known for the burn. From California to NYC, we've built a reputation for delivering efficient, challenging workouts that leave clients feeling strong, energized, and accomplished.

Now, BODYROK is coming to Ballard

We're building our founding instructor team now. This is your opportunity to get in on the ground floor, help shape a brand-new studio community, and grow with BODYROK as we continue expanding throughout the Seattle area.

THE BODYROK EXPERIENCE

Our signature Hybrid Pilates Method is performed on custom-built reformers and designed to deliver a full-body workout in just 45 minutes.

Think music pumping, instructors on the mic, nonstop movement, quick transitions, and high energy - all in a sleek, modern studio environment. It's low-impact on the joints, but anything but low-intensity.

If you love creating an energetic room, motivating people, and making fitness feel exciting, we want to meet you.

WHAT YOU'LL EARN

• $40-$70+ per session, scaling with class size
• Guaranteed minimum pay per class

As class sizes and your schedule grow, instructors have the opportunity to build significant monthly earnings beyond the guaranteed class minimum.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for instructors who bring confidence, energy, personality, and a genuine passion for fitness and music.

You should be comfortable:

• Commanding and motivating a room
• Teaching confidently on a microphone
• Delivering clear, effective cues
• Creating an energetic and engaging class experience
• Understanding basic anatomy and biomechanics
• Learning and executing BODYROK's signature method with precision

Prior teaching experience is preferred, but we care more about your ability to connect with a room, communicate clearly, and bring the energy than having a perfect resume.

GETTING BODYROK CERTIFIED

Never taught BODYROK before? No problem.

All selected instructors complete BODYROK Instructor Certification, where you'll learn our reformer method, class structure, cueing system, and coaching style.

Certification investment: $1,000-$1,500

Payment plans and limited scholarships are available.
