Job summary

Orangetheory Fitness in Ohio is seeking motivated Fitness Coaches to lead coach-inspired, science-backed workouts. You’ll motivate members, provide form cues, and educate them on heart-rate based training while demonstrating equipment and promoting safety.

A current Orangetheory-approved certification is required, along with AED/CPR certification. You’ll join Thrive Venture Group’s Ohio studio network, with opportunities for advancement, training, and a supportive company culture.

Qualifications

• AED/CPR certified is required.
• Hold and maintain a current fitness certification from an education company approved by Orangetheory Fitness.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate members through pre-defined workouts.
• Help members set and achieve SMART goals.
• Provide form corrections and exercise options with safety as priority.
• Explain the science behind heart-rate based training and educate members on benefits.
• Demonstrate usage and ensure knowledge of all equipment.
• Maintain a positive attitude and be a team player.

Position Overview

We are looking for coaches who can make our members feel seen, and that they’re an integral part of the hour you spend together. Coaches whose positive energy stays with a member long after they’ve left the studio, and they find themselves counting the hours till their next workout.

As a Fitness Coach you can expect to perform the following duties:

• Leading and motivating members through pre-defined workouts
• Helping members set and achieve S.M.A.R.T goals
• Offering form corrections and exercise options, safety if our priority!
• Understanding the science behind our workouts specifically, heart-rate focused training and educating our members on its benefits
• Knowledge of every piece of equipment and able to demonstrate usage in every workout.
• Positive attitude and being a team player

Additionally, you’ll need to meet these requirements:

• AED/CPR certified
• Hold and maintain a current fitness certification from an education company approved by Orangetheory Fitness
