Job summary

Hopedale Medical Complex is seeking a Fitness Instructor to support our rural wellness center and healthcare campus. You will design and lead safe, engaging fitness programs for patients, residents, and community members across all ages and abilities.

Responsibilities include conducting fitness assessments, developing personalized exercise plans, monitoring progress, and educating participants on safe movement, injury prevention, and healthy lifestyles.

Qualifications

• Group fitness instruction is required.
• Design and implement personalized exercise plans.
• Conduct fitness assessments and monitor progress.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Monitor heart rate and vital signs during sessions.
• Safe equipment use and maintenance.
• Track participant progress against goals.
• Support rehabilitation and senior fitness programs.
• Educate clients on health and wellness.
