Job summary

Wesley Willows in Rockford, IL, is seeking a part-time Fitness Coordinator to lead fitness classes, personal training, and wellness assessments for residents. The role supports the development of healthy lifestyles with engaging programs.

Qualifications

• High school graduation required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in health-related field.
• Certifications in health/fitness preferred (personal training and/or group exercise).
• CPR and Lifeguard certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fitness and aquatic classes, personal training, and wellness assessments.

• Track resident participation and sustain engagement through motivation and new initiatives.

What You'll Do?

What You'll Need:

• High school graduate or equivalent (required)
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older(required)
• A bachelor’s degree in health science, physiology, kinesiology, fitness, or a related field(preferred)
• Personal training and/or group exercise certification (preferred)
• CPR and Lifeguard certification (preferred)
• Will allow time for training the above certifications for the right candidate
• Must have a passion for fitness and working with seniors
