We’re hiring qualified elite coaches to deliver an exceptional workout experience to members and guests. The OTF Fitness Coach champions a positive member experience that is supportive, informative, and life‑changing. Responsibilities
- Leading and motivating members through pre‑defined workouts
- Helping members set and achieve goals
- Ensuring members use correct form and offering corrections
- Understanding the science behind our workouts, specifically heart‑rate‑focused training programs, and staying aware of industry trends
- Demonstrating proper use of all workout equipment
- Being a team player
Qualifications
- AED/CPR certification – required
- At least 1 year of experience as a personal trainer or group fitness instructor
- Hold and maintain a current fitness certification from an education company approved by Orangetheory Fitness, such as:
- National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA)
- American Council on Exercise (ACE)
- American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM)
- Aerobics & Fitness Association of America (AFAA)
- National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM)
- National Council on Strength and Fitness (NCSF)
- International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA – special provisions apply)
Job Details
Job Type: Variable Hour Employee – Part‑time & Full‑time hours available
Hours per week: 20‑40, 25 or more preferred
Compensation: Hourly rate of $10.00 for administrative time, including meetings, continuing education, and community outreach. For classes coached, pay ranges from $25 to $55 per class, based on tenure and attendance.
