Endeavors is seeking a dedicated fitness coach to improve clients' physical and nutritional wellness at the Health and Wellness Center in Sierra Vista, AZ. You will determine client goals, create tailored routines, and may lead individual coaching and group classes.
The role requires CPR/First Aid, and a Bachelor's in related field, with 2–4 years of supervision and program development experience, including work with first responders. On-site at 400 W Fry Blvd, Sierra Vista.
The fitness coach is a fitness professional who focuses on improving the physical and nutritional wellness of the Health and Wellness Center clients by determining the client's goals and creating a routine the client can follow to meet those goals. They may work individually with clients and may also teach fitness classes. The Health Coach works alongside the Fitness Coordinator and Wellness Coach to provide a collaborative care approach to client services.
CPR and First Aid certification, personal training certification through ACE, NASM or ACSM.
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field such as kinesiology or exercise physiology, or relevant work experience can be used in place of a degree.
Preferred two to four years of progressively responsible experience in supervision of staff/program development. Required two years of direct fitness programming, strength training, specialty certificates or training in yoga or tai chi. Experience working with the first responder community.
