Orangetheory Fitness is seeking Fitness Coaches to lead our coach-inspired, science-backed workouts in a studio setting. You will guide members through heart-rate tracked, 1-hour sessions and help them reach personal goals.

We value coaches who connect with people, demonstrate proper form, and stay curious about the science behind our workouts. Training is provided and there are growth tracks within the company.

Qualifications

• Certification through NASM, ACE, ISSA or NCCA-accredited equivalent.
• Ability to genuinely connect with and motivate others.

Position Overview

OTF is looking for Fitness Coaches to lead our coach-inspired, science-backed, and technology-tracked workouts.

• Compensation: Listed pay of $30 to $75 per session includes base pay + bonuses for certified personal trainers.

Day In The Life of a Fitness Coach:

• Lead and motivate members through pre-defined workouts


• Help members set and achieve goals


• Make sure members are using correct form and offering corrections if they aren’t


• Understand the science behind our workouts specifically, heart-rate focused training programs in general, and being aware of what the competition is doing


• Know how to use and demonstrate usage for every piece of equipment utilized in every workout

Requirements

• No degree is needed. We require a national fitness certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, or NCCA accredited equivalent) or the ability to obtain a certification.


• We’re looking for individuals who can genuinely connect with and motivate others.

Orangetheory is a science-based, full-body workout that uses technology to measure performance so members can prove they are improving. In a 60-minute class, led by a highly trained and certified coach, members target at least twelve minutes in the Orange Zone to raise their heart rate and charge up metabolism. The result is an increase in calorie burn post-workout, backed by the science of excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC). After twelve minutes of hard work in the Orange Zone, your body burns additional calories as you recover over the next 24 hours.
