Job summary

Orangetheory Fitness in Colorado is seeking qualified coaches to deliver scientifically pre-designed workouts for groups of up to 45 clients. You will motivate, coach all fitness levels, and help build studio membership while ensuring safety and safety protocols are followed.

The role requires current OTF-approved certifications (ACSM, ACE, NASM, NSCA, AFAA) and CPR/AED. You will also attend monthly trainings and collaborate with front desk staff on memberships and heart rate monitor sales.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of physiology, exercise technique and body mechanics.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized during group workouts.
• Positive, motivating interpersonal communication and client engagement.
• Desire and capacity to train all fitness levels.
• Current fitness certification from an OTF approved education company: ACSM, ACE, NASM, NSCA, AFAA.
• CPR/AED certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-designed workouts to groups of up to 45 clients
• Energize and motivate clients throughout the sessions
• Build session attendance and retain current clientele
• Ensure safety of participants in regards to exercise technique and standard health and safety protocols
• Provide options and challenges for specific exercises to accommodate various skill levels
• Attend monthly fitness staff meetings and required educational presentations
• Handle member concerns
• Partner with the front desk team on membership and heart rate monitor sales
• Make customer care calls

Orangetheory Fitness Coaches deliver scientifically pre-designed workouts for up to 45 clients per session. They have a strong ability to coach members of all abilities, effectively manage time and motivate multiple clients in a group setting. You will create studio culture, increase workout utilization and build the studio membership base.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• 1+ years experience as a fitness trainer, group fitness trainer or personal trainer in the fitness industry
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 40 lbs.
