Peace River Center in Bartow, Florida is seeking a qualified Therapist to provide assessments and counseling services as part of the FIT Program. This role requires competency in offering individual, group, and family therapy and knowledge of mental health and substance use treatment.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in a relevant field and have at least two years of experience working with individuals with substance use diagnoses. The position involves both direct clinical services and comprehensive documentation of treatment practices.
This position is responsible for providing assessments and counseling services in the FIT Program. The individual must have the competence to provide clinical assessments, individual, group, and family therapy. Position requires the therapist have knowledge of mental health and substance abuse diagnoses and treatment per the DSM-5.

Requires a Master's degree in the human services field (psychology, sociology, social work, counselor education, etc.), abide by a code of ethical and practice standards, and be committed to a process of lifetime knowledge and skills development.
Have a minimum of two years of direct experience working with individuals with a substance use diagnosis. Experience working in an agency providing substance use services, preferred.
CAP (Certified Addictions Professional) preferred
