Job summary

Kleinschmidt is seeking a Project Engineer to support fish passage design and construction from Maine or Strasburg, PA offices. The role requires a PE or commitment to licensure, BS in engineering, and at least 6 years in fisheries engineering, with Proficiency in Revit or AutoCAD for collaboration.

Qualifications

Licensed PE or commitment to becoming one within a year.
BS/BSc in engineering.
Minimum 6 years of fisheries engineering or related experience.
Experience with fish passage design, hydropower, and regulatory coordination is a plus.

Responsibilities

Serve on multi-disciplinary teams delivering fish passage projects.
Perform structural design and hydraulic analysis in collaboration with other disciplines.
Design and review drawings and specifications for fish passage structures.
Support project delivery through construction and regulatory coordination.
