The Vermont Department of Fish and Wildlife (VDFW) is recruiting for a Fish and Wildlife Scientist III to serve as district habitat biologist and small game project leader in the Springfield district. This role supports wildlife population management, the management of small game hunting seasons, and WMAs, with duties in both office and field settings.

Applicants should have a strong background in biology or natural resources with relevant experience; supervisory experience is preferred among

• Master's degree or higher in biology or a natural resources field; 1+ year experience in natural resources.
• Bachelor's degree in biology or a natural resources field; 3+ years experience in natural resources.
• One year or more of experience as a Fish and Wildlife Scientist III with the State of Vermont.
