Job summary

The State of Washington's Department of Children, Youth, and Families seeks a Fiscal Analyst 2 (FA2) for Green Hill School in Chehalis to ensure timely and accurate financial processes that support operations and services for youth.

You will verify billing, process payments, prepare journals, and assist with fiscal year-end tasks. This is a full-time, onsite role serving the DCYF mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Total four years of accounting/finance education or experience.
• Degree includes accounting/auditing/budgeting coursework or equivalent.
• Professional experience may substitute for education for some roles.

Responsibilities

• Verify billing and contract terms; ensure correct payments.
• Monitor and process contractor and vendor payments.
• Prepare payment documents and journal entries.
• Process periodic institutional payments and accruals.
• Support fiscal year close and reporting.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

Equivalent education and/or experience in accounting or finance (4 years)

Bachelor’s degree includes 18 quarter / 12 semester hours in accounting / budgeting and 1-2 years of relevant professional experience
