Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a First Vice President to lead appraisal review within the VAS practice. You will guide the appraisal report review process, manage risk, and ensure adherence to USPAP and internal guidelines.

Applicants should bring 10+ years of commercial appraisal and 3+ years of review experience, plus MAI designation and state certification. The role includes leadership responsibilities, client interaction, and collaboration across CBRE teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• Minimum 10 years commercial appraisal experience and 3 years review.
• Must have General State Certification/License and MAI designation.
• Proficiency in Argus, Word, and Excel; strong writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow framework for Appraisal Report Review Process and ensure compliance.
• Participate in leadership meetings to support critical initiatives.
• Handle risk identified via ERM and QRM policies and procedures.
• Promote adherence to VAS Practice Area Guidelines.
• Identify value through client discussions and select valuation approaches.
• Research, verify, and analyze property data and market comps.
• Prepare reports detailing property characteristics, procedures, and assumptions.
• Maintain USPAP compliance and confidentiality.
• Collaborate across teams to achieve company goals and client development.
