The North Texas Conference of The United Methodist Church is seeking a part-time Music Accompanist to support the Director of Traditional Music (DTM) and worship services in Burleson, TX. You will play piano and/or organ for rehearsals and sacred services, including funerals, as needed.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of related experience and proven piano/organ abilities. This position offers a flexible schedule of approximately five hours weekly.

• Assist the DTM, Senior Pastor, and chancel choir members as needed.

Reporting to the Director of Traditional Music (DTM), the Music Accompanist assists the DTM, Senior Pastor, and chancel choir members by playing the piano and/or organ for rehearsals and worship services (regular worship, special services, funerals, etc). Status: Approximately 5 hours per week.

Position Available: Immediately (assuming two-week notice if candidate is actively employed)

Pay: Up to $15,600 per year ($300 per week) DOQ

Education & Experience: Three to five years of experience in a related setting.

Equipment: Proven abilities for piano and/or organ.
