First Team Toyota is seeking an Express Service Advisor in Chesapeake, VA. You will greet customers, check vehicles into the Service Department, and coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion while delivering exceptional service.

The role emphasizes building lasting customer relationships, professional communication, and providing repair options and scheduling. Training and a path for advancement are provided within a premier Hampton Roads dealership group.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including strong negotiation and presentation skills.
• Previous dealership or automotive sales experience preferred.

• Meet and greet customers in the Service Lane.
• Engage customers at their vehicle to check them into the Service Department.
• Establish and maintain relationships with customers and technicians.
• Coordinate service and repair work with the team leader to meet completion times.
• Provide professional communication and ensure completion times are met.
• Offer multi-point inspections and advise on repairs or services.

Compensation / Good Faith Pay Range

• Base compensation: $30,000 to $50,000 per year
• Commission incentives paid under the dealership's compensation plan

What You'll Do

• Meet and greet customers in the Service Lane
• Engage customers at their vehicle in order to efficiently and effectively check the customer's vehicle into the Service Department
• Establish and maintain exceptional working relationship with customers and technicians
• Coordinates all service and repair work with team leader to achieve completion times
• Provides a professional level of communication with each customer and ensures that all completion times are met
• Provides solutions for each customer, including repair options, alternative transportation and needed repairs
• Offers a multi-point inspection to each customer and is comfortable selling additional repairs or services recommended by technician
• Conducts business in an ethical and professional manner with each customer

What You'll Bring

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including strong negotiation and presentation skills
• Previous dealership or automotive sales experience preferred
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and a flexible schedule
• Ability to hold yourself accountable and achieve goals with limited direct supervision
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screen
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct
