Job summary

Catapult Solutions Group seeks experienced Welders for a first-shift role on a 5:00 AM–3:30 PM schedule in Fairfield, OH. You will fabricate and weld parts per blueprints, ensuring adherence to design, quality, and safety standards.

Requirements include welding experience in manufacturing, ability to read drawings, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. AWS D1.1 and D1.3 certifications within weeks are expected; AWS certification is a nice-to-have. High school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
• Familiarity with welding tools and metalworking equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow safe work practices and established procedures.
• Ability to lift raw materials and components weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to successfully complete a welding certification test during the interview process.
• Must be able to pass AWS D1.1 and D1.3 weld certifications within the first few weeks of employment.

Responsibilities

• Follow blueprint specifications to weld and fabricate parts according to customer designs.
• Align, fit, and weld components to meet required specifications.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, hand tools, and other metalworking equipment.
• Verify completed components meet design and quality requirements.
• Interpret and analyze drawings and schematics to fabricate components accurately.
• Maintain detailed production and quality records as required.
• Follow all established safety and quality procedures.
• Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work areas.
• Work collaboratively with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Nice-to-Haves: Previous AWS certification.
