Job summary

Gordon Food Service is hiring for a First Shift Warehouse Package Handler on the Shipping Team. The role is based at our Brighton, MI distribution center, with a starting pay of $20.13 per hour and a schedule of Sunday through Thursday, 6:50 AM to finish.

You’ll handle order picking, lifting up to 100 pounds, and will receive training from our team. Benefits start day one and include weekly pay, wellness reimbursement, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime.
• Able to work in extreme cold or hot conditions.
• Must read, write and communicate in English.
• Pass a drug test and background check.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform order picking and loading in a warehouse.
• Stand for the duration of the shift and lift up to 100 pounds.
• Train with the dedicated training team.
• Respect schedule: Sun–Thu, 6:50 AM start; finish time varies.
