Job summary

State Steel Supply is seeking a Warehouse Specialist for 1st shift (Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4pm) at our Grand Island, NE facility. The role involves operating forklifts, overhead cranes, CNC machines, and other heavy equipment to support production and warehousing tasks.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 60 lbs, work safely in a fast-paced environment, and maintain high attention to detail while following instructions and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs unassisted.
• On-site work required at Grand Island facility.
• Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including cranes, mills, saws, shears, forklifts, and CNC machines.
• Maintain cleanliness and safe operation of warehouse and machines.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support production and warehousing.
