Job summary

The position is responsible for blending tomato paste with water using a paste extractor and ribbon blender to meet product specifications. The role requires adherence to quality standards, GMPs, and safety policies in a food production environment. Tasks may be added or changed by management as needed.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, basic math and writing skills, and be able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced plant setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Must understand and carry out instructions while performing manual labor.
• Basic math and writing skills for required paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Enter paste bin info into inventory and account for each bin used.
• Empty tomato paste into ribbon blender and transfer to paste tank.
• Follow instructions to meet desired brix standards.
• Open lids on paste bins to prepare for blending.
• Keep records on paste pumper sheets and account for bins used.
• Keep extractor and work areas clean; maintain GMPs and safety.
• Break down wooden bins and tag with supplier paper.
• Notify cooks of supplier or procedural changes.
• Sweep warehouse #4 and maintain cleanliness.
• Work as a team with crew and plant staff.
