Job summary

Dal-Tile is seeking a warehouse associate in Texas to pick, pack and ship customer orders. You will operate sit-down forklifts and other equipment, key orders into the WMS, verify stock, and place items onto pallets for shipment.

Responsibilities include receiving products, labeling, putaway, and ensuring accuracy and safety in a fast-paced distribution environment. A High School Diploma is required, with 1+ years in warehousing and forklift experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience.
• Minimum six months to 1 year of sit-down forklift, reach truck, and OP experience.
• Good oral and written communications skills; good record keeping and listening skills.
• Ability to understand and speak English.
• Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks to assemble customer orders from stock and place on pallets.
• Keys order into Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Verifies stock availability and audits orders for accuracy.
• Conveys picked orders to packing station or shipping areas.
• Receives product into warehouse and prepares for stocking; opens crates and inspects product.
• Applies labels to product and verifies shading; moves product into designated locations; handles packing and loading.
