Job summary

Cenveo, a leading North American envelope manufacturer, is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for the first shift (5:15 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.). Under supervision, you will receive product, verify shipments, and prepare goods for storage or shipment.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, forklift operation, cycle counts, coordinating with transporters, and maintaining inventory records. A High School diploma and forklift certification required; 3-4 years experience preferred; valid driver's

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with emphasis on math.
• 3–4 years related experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and forklift/power truck certification.
• Thorough knowledge of shipping/receiving and warehouse operations.
• Data entry, math, strong computer and good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near warehouse, plant, or work site.
• Reads work orders or follows oral instructions to determine materials to move.
• Operates forklift to load/unload materials from pallets, racks, and shelves.
• Receives, unpacks, and inspects goods; verifies against bills of lading and invoices.
• Maintains inventory records and provides status reports.
• Prepares shipping documents and coordinates routine work of warehouse staff.
• Contact transportation companies to schedule deliveries when needed.
