Job summary

Champion Foods LLC in Gaffney, SC is seeking an Associate for Sanitation (1st Shift) to support the sanitation crew and lead in absence of the lead. The role requires adherence to SSOPs, GMPs, and safety protocols within a fast-paced bakery environment.

You will train and supervise sanitation staff, ensure cleaning schedules, and handle chemical applications while coordinating with the shift lead and manager. Strong reading, communication and physical fitness are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of two years of experience in food manufacturing sanitation operations or similar position.
• Good knowledge of safety and GMPs, sanitation procedures and chemical applications.
• Physically able to lift over 50 lbs and operate cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead in sanitation tasks and maintain cleaning schedules.
• Dismantle, clean and reassemble production line machinery.
• Monitor cleaning methods and ensure GMPs compliance.
• Maintain sanitation inventory and assist with supplies.
