Job summary

Electroswitch is seeking a first-shift Quality Inspector to support our manufacturing operations in Weymouth, MA. The role involves mechanical and electrical testing and inspection at multiple production stages to ensure components, subassemblies, and finished products meet drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

The position primarily supports Utility Final Test, Industrial Final Test, and the Flow Line QC rotation, with coverage in other inspection areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and work instructions.
• Perform incoming, in-process, first-piece, and final inspections.
• Set up and conduct standard mechanical and electrical tests.
• Use calibrated inspection equipment to verify measurements.
• Document inspection results and initiate nonconformance reports when needed.
• Maintain inspection logs and quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings, specs, work instructions and inspection requirements.
• Perform various inspections on components, subassemblies and finished products.
• Set up and conduct mechanical and electrical tests with appropriate fixtures.
• Document results and maintain records in ERP.
• Support other inspection areas as needed to manage workload.
